Weld Food Bank Issues Release Regarding Recalled Meat

GREELEY, Colorado – King’s Command Foods, LLC has recalled approximately 26,138 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with metal pieces. Weld Food Bank had received this product from another food bank. It was distributed to their nonprofit partner agencies that then redistributed the meat products among the individuals they serve. The food bank is urging any individual who may have received fully cooked meatballs, southern/country fried beef steak fritters/fingers, or southern style breaded beef steakettes between the dates of February 24, 2017 through March 13th, 2017 to immediately dispose of the items.
